Terms & Conditions – Maneko Jewelry
Materials
All Maneko jewelry is handcrafted from 925 sterling silver and gold, with optional gilding and carefully selected gemstones such as zircons and other precious or semi-precious stones. Each piece has a smooth, polished finish for an exclusive look and is 100% nickel-free.
Every piece is stamped with our hallmark and inspected by the Precious Metals Control to ensure compliance with Danish quality standards.
As we work with different gemstones, variations in color, shape, and appearance may occur depending on the stones chosen for each piece.
Warranty & Complaints
You have a 2-year warranty on all jewelry purchased from Maneko in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and not normal wear and tear.

Manufacturing defects include, for example, loose or faulty gemstones, casting defects, or other flaws that were present at the time of purchase.

Within the warranty period, we will repair the item or replace it with a new one.

A valid receipt must always be provided when submitting a complaint.

The warranty is only valid if the jewelry has been handled with proper care. We do not provide any warranty for items damaged by misuse, accidents, lack of maintenance, exposure to chemicals, or other forms of improper handling.
Shipping & Delivery

Orders are shipped using the most cost-effective method, typically without home delivery. If you select delivery to a business address, a shipping fee will apply.

For international shipments, standard freight rates apply. Customers outside the EU (e.g. Norway, Switzerland) are responsible for paying local customs duties, VAT, and administration fees upon delivery.

Once your package has been dispatched, you will receive a track & trace number via email.

Customers are responsible for entering the correct delivery address and ensuring that business addresses are staffed during normal business hours. Any additional costs from GLS for re-delivery or return shipments due to incorrect information or failure to collect the parcel will be invoiced to the customer.
Shipping to Norway
Norway is not part of the EU. For shipments with a total value above NOK 350 (including freight), the customer must pay customs duties and VAT in Norway. These fees are calculated on the total purchase amount plus shipping and are collected by the freight provider upon delivery. All Norwegian orders are shipped with GLS.
Delivery Time
All jewelry is made-to-order. Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks for production and delivery.

We accept Dankort and MobilePay.

Payment will not be charged until your order has been shipped.

All payments are processed through a secure SSL-encrypted connection. Maneko never has access to your card details.

Prices are shown in DKK including VAT. For deliveries abroad (including Greenland and the Faroe Islands), additional shipping fees may apply. For customers outside the EU, customs and VAT may also be charged.

The transaction currency is DKK.
Secure Online Payment
Maneko is authorized to accept online payments. All transactions are processed through an encrypted SSL line. Once your card details are approved, your order will be confirmed, and the amount will only be deducted once the jewelry has been shipped.
Returns & Right of Withdrawal
As a customer, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with EU e-commerce rules.
However, please note the following exceptions and conditions:

Custom-made jewelry (including made-to-order items, special ring sizes, or designs outside our standard range) is excluded from the right of withdrawal and cannot be returned.

For all other items, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order if you wish to return it. You then have an additional 14 days to return the item.

Returned jewelry must be unused (beyond normal testing as in a physical store), in the same condition as received, and returned in the original Maneko packaging.

If the item has been used, we will make an individual assessment of its resale value, and any depreciation will be deducted from the refund.

Returns must always be sent as registered parcel post, and the customer bears all return shipping costs.

If the item is damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately upon receipt.

If a package is not collected or is refused by the customer, we reserve the right to invoice the return or re-delivery costs charged by GLS.
